Workshops and skills

Train the Trainer

A five-part program that equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and behaviors to create, define, and deliver measurable, transformative learning experiences based on stakeholder requirements.

How this helps at work

Prepares a subject-matter expert to run a session others can follow — planning the content, delivering it clearly, keeping participants involved, and showing the value afterwards.

Who it is for

Employees looking to improve communication and presentation skills while gaining the ability to create and facilitate learning experiences for their team, plant, or region.

What you can develop

  • Session 1 — why and how we learn, what prevents learning, what good looks like, comparing bad versus good
  • Session 2 — working with stakeholders, establishing objectives, building training presentations, writing scripts, rehearsing
  • Session 3 — preparing to present, reading the room, encouraging engagement, checking understanding
  • Session 4 — assessing and reporting value using Kirkpatrick, measuring ROI, giving constructive feedback
  • Session 5 — end point assessment: deliver a 5-minute training presentation to the cohort and give peer feedback

Format

Five one-hour sessions across five weeks, ending with a 5-minute presentation as the end point assessment.
